Salt Lake Day

Salt Lake City
Jim had a Doctor appointment in Salt Lake and so we decided to take a ROAD TRIP. I know Salt Lake is not a big deal, but we have SPRING FEVER. So we dropped off dad at the clinic and the BOYS and I went exploring.

This is what we found. . .

The Capitol Building!

I have never really been this close to the capitol building and although it was under construction I thought it was amazing.

Liberty Park?

To the side and a long hike down from the capitol was this cute little park. I think it was a memorial to some service men. I loved the little Meditation Chapel.

Next stop. . . Temple Square!

Wow, I need to go there more often. There have been a lot of new things added. I loved the little family presentation. There was even a lady missionary from Russia that we talked too.

This one is for you, Anita!
Maybe if you went to my church, your kids could walk on water like mine can!

Then we walked through the Church Office Building and there was this sweet little lady that asked us if we wanted to go to the top of the building.

WOW!

What a view!

Then we picked up daddy and went to lunch right down town at a Carls Jr. It was crazy, we had to pay a quarter to use the bathroom.

Teeth

Poor Tyler

Tyler has been trying so hard to NOT get his 2 front teeth pulled. The problem was . . . The new teeth were already coming in and they were pushing the old ones into CRAZY directions.
They HAD to come out.

So after some Tylenol, Oral Gel, and some other numbing solution, we convinced Tyler that it was time those teeth were YANKED OUT!

The Tooth Fairy knew what on Ordeal Tyler had to go through, so she left him $5.00! WOW ! ! !

I think he should take me out to lunch now!

Thing 1 & Thing 2

Thing 1 & Thing 2

Today at school was dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character. Of course my boys ARE Thing 1 & Thing 2, so there was no other option.

I found these Fuzzy Blue Hats at the dollar store and then went to Wal-Mart and got these Red Shirts.

They are just the Perfect Thing 1 & Thing 2.

Tagged

Here are the rules. You must post the rules before you give your answers. You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name. After you've been tagged, you need to up-date your blog with your middle name and answers. At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for details).

Kristi you are going to PAY for this! ! !

M - uuuuummmmm..... Maybe MOOSE. Since our last name is Moosmann and EVERYONE calls us MOOSEman... I would really like to have a Moose Lodge. Instead I have a house with a few Moose decorations and trinkets.

A - uuuhhhhh...... Well..... uummm.... no.... Maybe...... AIRHEAD, that is it! I am the biggest Airhead. My hair may be red, but my friends say that I am just a Rusty Blonde.

R - Righteous, NO.... Ready, NO, I am always late.... Round. That is it. I am ROUND! I know that is not a good thing. I know I need to loose some weight. This is just my baby fat (my baby is 7) OK this summer I will exercise more.

I - Intelligent?!?! Well, I am a nurse. That has to show some intelligence. Too bad I am more of an Airhead than a Brilliant Person.

E - ok?!?!? Excitable? It doesn't take much. I get excited over anything. Then I usually obsess about it. Right now it is taking pictures. And, of course, I am GOOD at it. (So I say) Then I go out and spend a lot of money. So I have been buying Props lately. Did I show you my Giant Tea Cup? Well here it is. I didn't have any babies to put in it the first night I bought it so I tourtured my poor animals. (they loved it... ok maybe not)

Andy Bunny

Andy was not able to be at our Easter Bunny Shoot. But ...

I found a way to include him in the picture.

It did take some work, because the shadowing was not right, but I really like how it turned out.

Now I have an Andy Bunny too.

Easter CHAOS Studio

My Easter Bunnies

I Really LOVE these pictures. I have the greatest kids in the world. It didn't take a whole lot of convincing to get them to pose for me. The biggest issue was who had to wear the pink ears.
Poor Spencer lost that war.

They are always more cooperative if you let them pull some funny faces.

I always start with the serious ones, that way the look forward to the crazy ones.

I love my cute Bunnies!

More Creative Chaos Studio

Well, we tried out some more fun photos. The bubbles didn't work so well, so I had cut and paste. Let me know if they look fake.
I have the cutest niece.
When you can get her to smile, her whole face smiles.

We got a little head start on Easter. I just couldn't resist making Kaylee into a little naked bunny.

Tomorrow, we are moving Creative Chaos Studio to Grandma's House. I can torture my other cute niece with all the picture taking.

Creative ChAoS Studio

I tried Family Pictures.
They turned out OK.
Leslie invited Shawnie over to our Photo Shoot. I thought I was just going to take pictures of her baby. But Shawnie wanted more. I haven't really done any family ones that really turned out. So I thought I would give it a try.

I loved the Ballerina and Hunter idea. It really worked. Shawnie really has some CUTE kids.

Shawnie had the Coolest little Bear Skinned Rug. It looked like the skin of a Teddy Bear. And I loved the CAMO thing!

CUTE!

CUTE!

CUTE!

Heber Creeper

Since I had such a bad week and needed to get away, we decided to take a trip to Heber. I had never been on the Heber Creeper, so it sounded like the perfect little escape.

The little boys were so excited and I don't think they were disappointed. We listened to Fablehaven on the drive, instead of the radio. It kept them entertained for the most part. They didn't ask "Are we there yet as often."

When we were almost to Heber, Andy hollered out "Moose!" So Jim turned around and sure enough there was a Momma Moose and her baby.

We could walk from car to car during the 3 hour train ride. For half of the trip we stayed out in the open car. It was easier to see the lake and the animals.

But it got pretty cold, so we had to buy some Hot Chocolate and big Pretzels to warm us up. The little pot belly coal stove in the back of the coach car warmed us up nicely.

It was a pretty fun day. We saw a bunch of deer, a couple more Moose, a lot of birds and even a Bald Eagle. I think we will have to go again in the summer.

Creative CHAOS Photo Studio

Well, we tried out Creative CHAOS Photo Studio again today, (me and my black sheets). Here are a few of the good ones.

Our subject didn't want to cooperate. She only smiled in a few and was very serious in most of them. But she is still my GEORGOUS Little Niece.

Tyler's Baptism

Tyler was Baptized and Confirmed today. I'm so proud of him. He is such a good boy. I am so glad he made this big decision in his life. Everyone may think Tyler is a little pesty, but they don't see the Brilliant Child that he is. I love him so much.

It was a very fun day. Everyone came over for dinner and then we went to the church house. Only we were 1 hour too early. It is a good thing the church is just across the street. So we went back to the house and waited for the right time.

Uncle Brent Baptised and Confirmed Tyler. Thank goodness Uncle Brent is here for us. He did a wonderful job. It was a very nice blessing. We are so blessed to have such a Great Family that lives so close.

Try Out! Wipe Out!

Well the boys talked us into taking them sledding. This time they wanted to go to Tridell to the Famous TRY OUT! WIPE OUT! Although they didn't "wipe out" very much this time, I did get one good wipe out of Andy! It looks painful to me.

But it was a pretty good day. And the best part, after sledding we went back to Grandmas House and had GOULASH!

Bag Of Bags

So this blog is not always going to be about paintball. That does take up the majority of our time, but I also like to do about any Craft Thing there is. This is my latest project.

Now, don't think I am into recycling, but I am doing my part for the environment with this one. This is a bag that I crocheted entirely out of grocery bags. Now don't DIS it, because, I know that you will all want one just as soon as you see them. Just admit it!
I just finished the yellow and white one at work last night. It is made from Wal-Mart bags and Yellow Boi-Hazard Bags (yes, stolen from the hospital). All the stores around here have mostly white bags and it is hard to find the different colors. It takes about 15 bags for each row. So when I do find a store that has a different color I always ask them to double bag the stuff that I buy. You should see the looks I get from the cashiers when I buy 1 skein of embrodiery floss and ask them to double bag it. HA HA HA!!! What is even better, When I am getting to the end of the project and don't have enough bags to finish, I make Andy run into a store and ask them for 25 bags. Some times he has to go into several stores. It is GREAT, the Embarassment Factor! (ok, I have only made him do that once and will probably never ask him to do it again).
Anyway, I am always looking for different color bags. So if you find a store with bags other than white or yellow, please let me know. And if you don't mind, Save your bags for me, PLEASE!!
Thanks!

Diehard Paintball

Talk about COLD! For Andy's Birthday, he wanted to play Paintball, (Of Course). Even with the FIRE we built, it was TOO COLD! The Hot Chocolate and Chili didn't keep us warm for long. They only ended up playing 1 game, and that was after it took 1 hour to set up the guns. Paintball Guns don't do too well in the cold.

Justin and Tyler found other ways of entertainment. SLEDDING! There were a few hills nearby that took them for a few good rides. But poor little Spencer didn't do too well with the cold. He stayed by the fire as much as possible. So did I.

I don't think Andy's friends will come to his next birthday party if he plans to play FROZEN PAINTBALL TAG again. We might just have to have a HALF BIRTHDAY party in July.
